What You Will Need
Entry Requirements & Application Documents
We welcome students from all backgrounds and nationalities. Our assessment process is designed to find the right year-level placement for your child — not to exclude. Here is what you will need to prepare.
Required Documents (for all applicants)
- Completed Winz International School Application Form
- Copy of child's birth certificate (certified)
- Copy of child's passport (for non-Malaysian students)
- Copy of child's MyKad or MyKid (for Malaysian students)
- Most recent school report card / academic transcript (last 2 years)
- Copy of parent / guardian's IC or passport
- 2 recent passport-sized photographs of the child

Q1: Does Winz accept mid-year admissions?
Yes. We accept mid-year enrolments subject to available places in the relevant year level. Please contact our admissions team to check current availability for your child's year group. A transfer certificate from the previous school will be required.
Q2: Do you accept international students and expatriate families?
Absolutely. Winz International School warmly welcomes students of all nationalities. We have experience supporting expatriate families through the Student Pass process and helping children settle into a new school and country. Please contact our admissions team early to allow time for documentation.
Q3: What is the medium of instruction?
English is our primary medium of instruction across all subjects. Bahasa Malaysia is taught as a compulsory subject in line with Ministry of Education requirements. Mandarin Chinese is offered as a core subject, making Winz a genuinely trilingual school environment.
Q4: Is there a school bus service?
Yes, a school bus service is available for selected routes in the Kuala Lumpur area, including areas near Bukit Jalil, Kinrara, PJ Old Town, and Kuchai Lama. Please enquire about availability for your residential area when you contact us.
Q5: What is the school uniform?
Winz International School has a standard school uniform for all students. Uniforms are available for purchase from the school. Details on uniform requirements will be provided upon enrolment confirmation.
Q6: When does the academic year start?
Our primary academic year begins in [Month — e.g. January]. We also offer a secondary intake in [Month]. Please contact our admissions team for the specific dates for the 2026 intake.

Q7: Does my child need to speak English to apply?
A working level of English is helpful, but it is not a barrier to entry — especially for younger year levels. We provide English Language Support (ELS) for students transitioning into English-medium learning. Please let our admissions team know at enquiry stage so we can plan appropriate support.
Q8: What is your class size?
We maintain small class sizes to ensure every student receives attention from their teacher. Average class size is [X] students per class. Our teachers know every student by name — not just their exam results.

Q9: Can I visit before applying?
Yes — and we strongly encourage it. A personalised campus tour is the best way to experience Winz. Q10: What happens after I submit the application form?
Our admissions team will contact you within 1–2 business days to acknowledge receipt of your application. If an assessment is required for year-level placement, we will schedule it at a convenient time. Once the assessment is completed, we aim to issue an offer letter within 5–7 working days.
